<p>RPRA General Manager, Stewart Wardrop and Colin Hill Pigeons in War Volunteer Curator for the RPRA at Bletchley Park, travelled to Stowe House in Buckingham for a recording of the BBC&#8217;s Antiques Roadshow. <p>The medal won by Cologne owned by Mrs Payne of Nottingham, will appear on a future episode of the antiques Roadshow – probably the autumn 2013.</p>
<p>The story relating to how Cologne won the medal and some more supporting documents are now going to be researched thoroughly and we hope to publish a full story in a few months’ time.</p>

Owen is a Pigeon Fancier, and the documentary will follow Owen as he prepares and selects his Pigeons to race  in the Cwmbran ‘young bird’ race as well as returning back to Mr Duffys home the  following day to see how the pigeons got on.</p>

<p>Well done to the winners. 9 birds came together around the time i thought with K Bryan first through the traps. South Wales taking the glory this week. That&#8217;s the 3 races going to Wales on the trot. The Yearlings had it tough today with a very light se wind and they had to work with some  getting in trouble , its hard for them being on there own. Next Thursday they will be marked to go and be liberated with the South West Lerwick Club and race on the Saturday from 203 miles Hexham.</p>

The weather is unpredictable at present sunshine one minute heavy hail stones the next. Ingleton will be there next race this being Thursday or Friday going on the forecast and will be keeping a close eye on this. Ingleton will be the first race that counts in the Ace pigeon award being one of the 3 longest races at 148 miles. Will let you know on Wednesday when we are looking to mark the birds.</p>
