The largest gathering of pigeon fanciers in the United Kingdom – the BHW Show of the Year 2023 – took place at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, over the weekend 21st-22nd January. 

Sadly, due to the avian influenza surveillance zones in force, there were no actual show classes, but it was still a great opportunity for old friends to meet up and peruse the many auctions, trade stands etc.

All of the donated birds sold in the online charity auction, and raised just over £6,600 for the Show charities.

Ladies Charity Stall: Meryl and Carole would like to thank all contributors, donors and purchasers for their support. A grand total of £610 was raised, this to be shared between Diabetes and Mountain Rescue Support Dogs. Thank you all.
