The RPRA’s ‘Design a Logo’ competition for HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 attracted nearly 300 entries from all over the country, each of a very high standard.
A short-list of finalists was drawn up for each of the three categories – Under 11 (Primary Schools), Ages 11-16 (Secondary Schools), and Adult – and presented anonymously at the RPRA Council meeting in October, where the Councillors voted for their preferences. The results (with appropriate images left to right) were as follows:
Under 11 Age Group

=3rd – Megan Smith, Austhorpe Primary School, Leeds

The overall winner, whose design will appear on all official RPRA stationery and certificates throughout 2012, and on the Mobile Display Unit at the numerous shows around the country, was Leah Jones (top left).
