Support needed for pigeon documentary

Matilda Hay and Emily Bates are two university students making a short documentary on pigeons as the final piece of their MSc in Science Media Production, and they are looking for assistance from RPRA members.

Matilda said: “We want to show the world how incredible pigeons are through a half hour documentary. We will be following a young bird training for its first race, as well as exploring the pigeon’s remarkable history, their heroic feats in war and the science behind their homing mechanism.  But we need your help to raise a small budget for the film. Please visit our kickstarter project page to learn more about our project. Any support would be greatly appreciated!”

They need to raise £300 before Friday 8th August to be able to proceed with the project, and are about half way there.

News as it happens is also available on the Carry Me Home Twitter page.
