Artist Kate MccGwire makes pigeon feather sculptures, such as that entitled ‘Cleave’ on the left, and is currently working on a large piece that she will be making out of white pigeon feathers.

Some of our members are already sending Kate feathers, but it is taking her some time to collect the quantity of white feathers that she needs. If you are able to help, Kate would be pleased to hear from you on 07711 521483 or at [email protected]

She is happy to send stamped and addressed envelopes to anyone who is prepared to send her feathers, and can also make a small payment per envelope or a charitable donation to a charity of your choice.
