Wreath laid for Pigeons lost in War

RPRA General Manager, Stewart Wardrop, laid a wreath at the Animals in War Memorial on Friday morning, in memory of the many thousands of carrier pigeons lost in war.

The wreath laying was part of a service at the memorial in Park Lane, on the edge of Hyde Park, to commemorate the countless horses, mules, donkeys, dogs, pigeons and other animals who served the country in wartime.
