It is now time to put forward your entries for the best pigeon in the UK 2023.

There are eight coefficient categories to enter:
- Adult – Short Distance (5 performances needed between 65 & 250 miles)
Adult – Middle Distance (2 performances needed between 251 & 450 miles)
- Best All Round Performance by a single bird (3 performances needed, max of 2 from any one category)
- Best Performance by a Young Bird (3 performances needed from any distance)
- Ages 16 to 21 – Short Distance (5 performances needed between 65 & 250 miles)
- Ages 16 to 21 – Middle Distance (2 performances needed between 251 & 450 miles)
- Ages 8 to 16 – Short Distance (5 performances needed between 65 & 250 miles)
- Ages 8 to 16 – Middle Distance (2 performances needed between 251 & 450 miles)
It is easy to enter – just visit this page and click on the category you wish to enter. You will then be directed to an online form where you can fill in the questions and submit. Alternatively, you can complete this postal application form and send it to us at RPRA Awards 2023, Unit 35-41, Upper Mills Trading Estate, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire GL10 2BJ. The deadline for entries is 23.59pm on Friday 3rd November.
There are also four other awards which will not be based on coefficient calculations, but will be judged by a panel. To enter these you have to apply directly to your regions, who will forward them to the national panel for judging in November.
These categories are:
- Adult – Long Distance (Minimum 1 performances needed from 450 miles & over)
- Ages 16 to 21 – Long Distance (Minimum 1 performance needed from 450 miles & over)
- Ages 8 to 16 – Long Distance (Minimum 1 performance needed from 450 miles & over)
- Ages 8 to 21 – Guy Barrett Trophy (Best performance by a single fancier and how they also contribute to the sport)
